ASSIGNMENT PAYLOAD TOOL. OWN YOUR GRADE.
The Assignment Calculator quantifies exactly how each assignment payload hits your final grade. Find the impact of a completed score, or calculate the exact mark needed on an upcoming mission. Two modes. Zero guesswork.
TWO EXPLOIT MODES
Weight Impact reveals exactly how a completed assignment shifts your overall average — up or down. Required Score reverse-engineers what mark you need on an upcoming assessment to hit your target grade.
BUILT FOR STUDENTS
Whether you're stress-testing a midterm grade, mapping out final exam strategy, or planning which assignments to prioritize, this calculator delivers the intelligence you need to act with precision.

UNDERSTANDING ASSIGNMENT CALCULATIONS
Assignment calculations are the foundation of academic strategy. Every course uses a weighted grading system where different assessments — homework, quizzes, midterms, finals, projects — carry different percentages of the total grade. Understanding these weights lets you allocate study time where it produces the highest return.
WHAT IS ASSIGNMENT WEIGHT?
Assignment weight is the percentage a specific task contributes to your final grade. A midterm worth 25% carries five times more impact than a quiz worth 5%. Knowing this lets you identify which assessments to prioritize and which carry less risk if underperformed.
HOW WEIGHTED GRADES COMPOUND
Each graded item adjusts your overall average proportionally to its weight. A 95% on a 5%-weighted quiz moves the needle by 0.25 points. The same 95% on a 30%-weighted final moves it by up to 9 points. This is why tactical planning around high-weight assignments is the most efficient path to grade improvement.
// LIVE_SCENARIO — Finals Strategy
A student holds 82% in Physics with a final exam worth 25% of the grade. Target: a B (83%).
Inputs: Current = 82% · Target = 83% · Weight = 25%
Output: Required score = 86%
Intelligence gained: Scoring 86% or above on the final locks in a B. Scoring below 86% drops the final grade under the threshold. This single data point defines the minimum study target — and removes all uncertainty from the planning phase.
